南沙中欧高峰对话会

2010年7月15-16日，广州南沙

在中欧社会论坛框架下，将于2010年7月15-16日在广州南沙举办中欧高峰对话第一次研讨会。届时将有近10位中、欧前国家领导人出席。他们将从各自的领导经验和智慧出发，坦诚对话，加深了解，共同讨论中欧社会及全球世界的未来治理。我们希望这一小型峰会成为中欧前国家领导人持续对话的一个平台，为未来世界治理提供有创见的思想。

会议将由中欧社会论坛、香港理工大学、南沙科技及霍英东基金会联合组织。现任全国青联副主席的霍震宇先生将这一活动视为对先父遗愿的继承，并希望南沙成为思想创新的一个摇篮。此项活动最初由凤凰卫视著名主持人邱震海先生提出，他将与论坛基金会主席卡蓝默一起设计会议的主题与日程。

正是在霍英东先生的支持下，于2005年在南沙召开了第一届中欧社会论坛。南沙已然成为这一论坛的起源地，这也是为什么我们再次回到南沙的原因。

中欧社会论坛是一个由中欧思想家发起的思想兼行动的创意，每两年一次，轮流在中国和欧洲举行。该论坛旨在促进中国和欧洲社会之间广泛而深入的接触，吸引来自各领域、各阶层的人士，一起探讨双方社会各自的和共同面对的问题，在相互接纳和集体智慧的碰撞中创造共同知识，探索多元的可持续的治理模式，以期携手应对当今人类社会面临的共同挑战。

第一届中欧社会论坛于2005年在南沙新城召开，由欧洲梅耶人类进步基金会与中国人民大学、中国外交学院联合主办，霍英东基金会承办。第二届论坛于2007年在欧洲23个城市举办46个分组聚会，在比利时新布鲁塞尔大学召开大会，欧洲部分地区和城市政府机构、大学、民间组织承办。欧盟前主席德洛尔、法国前总理罗卡尔、中国驻欧盟使团团长关呈远、中国驻布鲁塞尔大使章启月等出席大会并担任主席。

正在筹备的第三届双年聚会将于2010年7月12-14日在香港举行，香港理工大学、中国人民大学、欧洲的中欧社会论坛基金会联合主办。第三届论坛已经得到了中欧双方政府的大力支持。全国政协、中国驻欧盟使团、欧盟新任主席、欧洲议会、地区委员会、能源部、教育部、社会就业部，欧洲驻华使团、法国驻华大使馆及驻香港的欧洲领事馆等都以各种方式参与到这次中欧对话中来。

Nansha High Level Seminar on Global Governance of the World

The 3rd Biennial of China-Europa Forum

July 15-16, 2010 Nansha, Guangdong

In a celebration of the Globalization and plagued with the environmental and social crises, China and Europe the two old civilizations are facing to new challenges and needing to invent together new modes of dialogue between the Chinese and European societies. The China-Europa Forum is a strong and effective platform to take up these challenges and propose new ideas for the local and global governance of our world from now on in the same destinies. It aims to bridge the Chinese and European societies by sharing knowledge and experiences; to take common challenges and to make joint efforts for the global governance founded on plurilateral dialogues amongst major regional and territories entities, with the view of ensuring a harmonious and peaceful and just human community in solidarity.

The 3rd Biennial of the China-Europa Forum will be jointly organized by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the China-Europa Forum Foundation and the Renmin University of China, with the support of the Fok Ying Tung Foundation, China Nansha Technology Enterprises Limited and Chengdu City. It will be held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from July 12 to 14, 2010. This 3-day plenary session is supported by Home Affairs Bureau of HKSAR and Office of the European Commission in Hong Kong and Macao. More than 800 participants from diverse fields and groups all over the Europe and China are expected to attend such an event which contributes in deepening the mutual communication between the Chinese and European societies.

In order to deepen the high-level communication, to facilitate networking among key stakeholders from Chinese and European societies, as well as to create a platform for innovative insights for the world governance, a 2-day Sub-Forum, titled “Nansha High Level Seminar on Global Governance”, is conceived. Around 10 former political leaders and 10 brilliant intellectuals from China and Europe will attend this event and participate in discussions in two panels.

This seminar will be hosted on July 15-16, 2010 in Nansha City, co-organized by the China-Europa Forum Foundation, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China Nansha Technology Enterprises Limited and Fok Ying Tung Foundation, and assisted by Dr. Peter Qiu, the famous commentator from Pheonix TV.

Mr. Benjamin Fok, the Vice-Chairman of All-China Youth Federation, the Chairman of the New Epoch Information Co. Ltd, and family member of Fok Ying Tung Foundation, extends generous contributions in this seminar. According to him, hosting such an event is to assume a spiritual heritage of his father Henry Fok and to do some thing for future generations. He hopes that Nansha will be a cradle for creating together common knowledge and thoughts with the most Chinese and European intelligent and experienced minds.
